Joining the ranks of business phones nudging their way into the consumer market, Palm’s Treo 500 is visually sleeker than previous offerings, along with a new interface and some leisure-friendly features.
The HTC Touch Dual – rebranded by T-Mobile as the MDA Touch Plus – irons out many of the flaws the plagued the original Touch handset. However, despite the improved user interface and the addition of a mechanical keypad, the Touch Dual still falls short in several areas.
HTC’s Touch Cruise – and its O2-branded alter-ego the XDA Orbit II – is a fully featured smartphone that is especially capable in the navigation department. However, reports are mixed on the touch screen and the camera is considered rather a poor effort.
