There’s one area where the BlackBerry Storm certainly equals the iPhone: divisiveness. RIM’s first foray into the world of touch-screen telephony has confused and delighted with its ‘clickable’ interface, though its lack of Wi-Fi and poor battery life have generated more of a consensus.
Though no doubt a landmark in mobile telephony history, the G1 very much represents a work in progress for Google’s ambitions in this arena. Its fantastic Android operating system is held back by clunky hardware and an unimpressive feature set.
