As its full title suggests, the Nokia 6210 is something of a one-trick pony. Though its sat-nav capabilities are first-rate, it falls behind its Nokia stablemates as an all-round handset.
Anybody remembering the first single New Order released from the 2001 Get Ready album will recall the line “we’re like crystal, we break easy.”
For others, any mention of crystals will bring back memories of Darlene Love, Phil Spector, rebels, and never, ever being any good.
Despite having lost its ‘slimmest slider ever’ crown to younger sibling the E840, the U600 remains at the svelter end of the spectrum. However, new standards in multimedia functionality have demoted the U600’s feature roster to mid-range status.
Not to be confused with the fuller-featured and fuller-figured 6500 Slide, the Nokia 6500 Classic provides mid-range multimedia and 3G functions in a svelte and stylish package.
The 5220 makes its priorities very clear and succeeds in delivering on them. Its quirky design and excellent musical talents make it a solid budget phone and though its camera and connectivity options won’t be winning many prizes, it does its job.
